There are millions of more people carrying guns without adequate education regarding firearms safety and Arizona Laws. This website provides the public with a variety of resources to get the firearms education and training courses they need to be responsible firearms owners. On April 7, 2020 The NRA has launched a number of Online Blended Learning Courses that are available to the general public without having to sign up for membership with the organization. The NRA Blended Learning Courses include the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Online Course - Distance Learning, which upon completion offers and essential certificate for obtaining an Arizona Concealed Carry of Weapons Permit, pursuant to A.R.S. 13-3112(N)(1)(3)(4)(8). The blended learning course include an in-person, face-to-face session with one of our NRA Certified Instructors to further enhance the learning and demonstrate competency. Although AZDPS does not require Live-Fire Qualifications to issue a permit, we do offer customized shooting courses for individuals looking for a high degree of hands-on training.

In addition to the NRA Blended learning courses, Our AZ CCW Online courses offer additional layers of knowledge and may serve as added legal protection regarding Firearm Safety and the specific Arizona Revised Statues  (A.R.S) related to the most critical topics a responsible firearms owner needs to understand. The online courses can be completed while observing State and CDC Social Distancing Guidelines and avoiding long lines and large crowds, confined spaces like classrooms and public gathering places. The AZ CCW Preparation Course and AZ CCW Certification Class are interactive and help people that are staying safe at home get face-to-face access to highly qualified firearms instructors to help with questions and customizing online learning and in-person private sessions. We offer mobile services such as fingerprinting and at work / in-home CCW certifications for people that cannot travel and the courses are captioned for people with hearing loss.
